The Eat Well Cafe was set up in 2010, with the intention of taking the guess work out of dining. All our dishes include a balanced amount of fruit, vegetables, bread, rice, potatoes, pasta – wholegrain varieties (of course), milk and dairy foods, some meat, fish, eggs, beans or other non-dairy sources of protein. Everything cooked with as little fat, salt and sugar as possible.
"Eating too much salt is linked to high blood pressure. This in turn increases your risk of developing coronary heart disease. So it’s important that you don’t eat more than the recommended amount of salt each day".
The Eat Well Café can be found in the Lion and Cub courtyard, a convenient stop off point for resting your shopping legs or to meet up with friends and colleagues for a guilt free lunch!
